Förväntar vi oss trygghet
på kollapsens knivskarpa kant?
Eller endast av skygghet
struttar vår obekymrade fjant?
Att söka andra klandra
medan själva tappar taget
söka skylla på andra
blir ju i senaste laget
Så återstår väl blott att yla
i en tom värld av känslokyla?

Defenders’ strong resistance ignored
by Sam in dazzling, rushed attack floored
Of opposing team awless
he served a pass so flawless
that even his Farfar could’ve scored

Flower’s stalk bows bent
face down, pose dejected
but does she lament
her being rejected?
While I admired her entranced
who else might have noticed
spared but the briefest of glance
or feeling remotest?
Why would a single real life flower need to be seen
when several thousands can be pulled up on your screen?
Bought a car for $50K
that had kept me spellbind
so subsequently no way
getting a cheaper kind
Still if spent $30k instead
some poor people would be ahead
Would a $20k donation
set me free to drive a car ‘mundane’?
Might I cause my peers vexation
by giving my compassion free rein?
But as us peers are uniquely deserving
shouldn’t have to deal with what-if:s this unnerving!
Riskerar själsligt självmord
om vi låter kläcka
alltför många tomma ord!
Borde oss förskräcka:
Skänker ej frid å ro
endast tjatigt tjoho
Watch us when milling around
in misapplied gumption
rushing ragged always bound
up in pride, presumption
For once when God spoke
of our earthly rampage
did God share a joke
our burden to assuage?
Once in a while is my humble belief
that us poor humans could use some relief
The careerist know-it-all
with elite tries to blend
with supercilious gall
determined to ascend
He knows how ingratiate
of superiors kiss their butts
flatter, his CV inflate
Of rivals kick them in their nuts
Taps into people’s envy & fear
telling them the lies they wanna hear
In stillness we need not strive for more
as its wind embraces in warm whisper
The past doesn’t whimper, future doesn’t roar
Thoughts may blur, while emotions feel crisper
Into stillness we’re gladly brought
it’s a place where we may be taught
Crashing pizza delivery drone
hits customer with nose on smart phone
such is the pedagogy
of ‘talking’ by emoji
Got a taste of drone by AI flown
Folk utan vatten å mat
vimlande vandaler
djupare rasistiskt hat
anses ej skandaler
inte hellre vår miljö
i stundande kollaps
Slå dej ner, låt oss förströ
tid nu för en till snaps
Nej, inte ger vi i barnen fan
men just nu roar vi oss på stan!
