In this fading world blighted
mired in rapacity
plenty needs to be righted
with prompt audacity
But wait! Lives do go awry
must burdens be lightened?
Aren’t humans still getting by
without loopholes tightened?
Grant me instead distraction
with pastime, gleaming stuff
so I don’t need take action
which seems risky and tough
Injustices to redress?
Surely, but prefer to digress
flirt and hoping to impress
others, self in my new red dress!
