Fades away the day meekly
sun rays reflect but bleakly.
On Fall flattened curve
in sky’s metallic shrouds
sets sun with reserve
below cold streaking clouds.
Its rays turn opaque
sun sinks to rest.
Leaving a chilled wake
to West Southwest.
