Hur det kännes att trängta
efter att kunna uttrycka
Hur det kännes att längta
efter att kunna samtycka
Våra ord blir bräckliga
om ej från vårt hjärta
sorgligt otillräckliga
ibland alltför bjärta
Undvik ord som högmodigt skramlar
men stöd de som åtminstone famlar
While the grass is thought to be greener
on the other side of the fence
the barking dog there may be meaner
How do such fantasies make sense?
The Human Race is in dire distress
because we constantly want more
Always way too willing to aggress
so we can further up our score
Mired in constant complaint
as we know not constraint
‘The Orange Ego Coddler’
in policy incoherent
A vainglorious toddler
The ‘Stable Genius’ despot
ignorant & feckless
How he spouts without respite
a Demagogue reckless!
He untiringly trumps up ‘tantrumps’
amidst golf at casino sanctums

Words swooping in screeching flocks
on rash repeated raids
whether aiming to flummox
darting out from deep shades
May seem fetching while hollow
coming across inane
Glib, quick, too hard to follow
they know not of restrain
Verbiage self-promotional
insincerely emotional
MSM’s faux storytelling
& Wall Street’s greedy windfall
hasten Empire’s unraveling
tripping us into free fall
The violence visited upon
the outer edges of the Realm
has come home resoundingly foregone
regardless of who’s at the helm
Harsh havoc caused on those ‘small countries grungy’
snapped back in Empire’s face as if by bungee
With scant knowledge of history
some of us lack perspective
allows the Elite’s sophistry
to provide slant deflective
Media gives space generous
for each crisis made to seem
unforeseen, sui generis
as per Power Elite’s scheme
covering up by spin in profusion
failing that with a ‘pretend solution’
True facts can’t grow or contract
Facts shall remain facts regardless
of wished-for outcome or tact
They are neither kind or heartless
Opinions are but opinions
oft self-serving, subjective
nothing but a claque of minions
milling around affective
Ain’t it these days to facts we take offense
while opinions we airily dispense?
At first they were both derided
for appearing quite misguided
Off to such weak start
both Trump & Bush
mere blips on the charts
Then without blush …
… they chose (absent all qualms)
path precedential
which: Drop missiles & bombs
get ‘Presidential’!
Patriots are now deferential
of their new leaders quintessential!
Thinning hair ruffled
Slow feet stumbled
Noise shrill while muffled
Same days jumbled
Yarns spun garrulous
Headlights gone dimmed
on roads perilous
Life’s sweet cream skimmed
Been carrying on too long
Ready for the last round: Gong!
Yet another rant
of Trumpler cant
with profligate slant
Admirers chant!
While many a sycophant
(be they scammed, ignorant)
growing ever truculent
Of hope indifferent …
… as the Trampling Orange Elephant
a mere Dabbling, Deranged Dilettante!
